Adonai Director

Gina (Fausnight) Kerhin

Gina is the owner and founder of Adonai Fine Arts Center. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Taylor University and has taught children's lessons for 18 years. She has been dancing for over 26 years. She also taught drama and dance internationally. Her love for the arts led her to develop Adonai Fine Arts Center, LLC. Seeing children discover their God given gifts and talents in a clean and wholesome family environment based on Christian principles brings her great joy! She is the main adminsitrator at Adonai but she also enjoys teaching tap, jazz, hip hop, praise and worship dance, pre-ballet, gymnastics, tumbling, drama, voice and piano!

 

 

Gymnastics & Cheer Staff

Jill Mitchell

Jill has taught gymnastics for over 35 years! Her competition experience extended from grade school through college. She has a true and sincere concern and love for kids! She owned her own gymnastics company for 12 years. Her teaching degree in Education is from Ashland University. She was a competitive gymnist for many years including a scholarship in gymnastics during college! She also coached cheerleading at Ashland University for 2 ½ years. Many students in the Ashland area have trained under Coach Jill! At Adonai she focuses her efforts on our team gymnists and upper level tumbling classes.


Mandy Doerfler

Mandy was a student of Ashland High School. Her degree is a BA in psychology from Ohio State University. She started dancing at the age of 3 and has continued until present day in jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, hip hop, and worship dance. Mandy was also in gymnastics for several years and continued tumbling as a cheerleader for 7 years, with 4 years competitive cheer experience. Mandy also grew up in the Deaf community with a mother who was a professional interpreter; she teaches fun signing for kids and new moms, which encourages language skills. Mandy has successfully taught gymnastics and dance at Adonai for 4 years now.


Allyson Garrigues

Allyson was a competitive gymnasts for most of her school career. Her gymnastics experience exceeds 20 years. Her experience also includes multiple years of dance and cheer. She coordinated and ran a cheer program for many years in Shelby, OH. She teaches higer level gymnastics and tumbling at Adonai. Her students enjoy her fun personality and trust her spotting skills. If you are targeting back handsprings, back tucks, halves or fulls you will enjoy Allyson's classes!


Paula Strickland

Paula has taught team gymnastics at Adonai for 5 years. She also has a long history in dance. She was raised as a Hoosier but we thouroughly enjoy her as a coach and recognize her Buckeye status! Paula's kind heart makes her very successful as a coach!


Sandy Martin

Sandy has taught gymnastics at Adonai for 3 years now. She focuses on our entry level team gymnasts. Sandy's bubbly personality keeps kids motivated as they work towards their beginner - level 3 skills! Sandy has great insight as a mother of 2 gymnasts. It helps her always see things not only from a coaches viewpoint, but also from a mom's viewpoint!
